"Bilang isang daycare worker, malaki po itong pakinabang sa aming barangay at sa aming school. Mas mapapabilis po nito yung way ng pagtuturo ko kasi through internet din po ako nag bi-base ng aking mga lessons, dun ako kumukuha ng aking mga pa-activities sa mga bata," shared Melija Importa, a daycare worker in Barangay Caima, Sipocot.

Barangay Caima is one of several barangays in the municipality of Sipocot now connected to high-speed internet through the CamSur Free Wi-Fi For All Program, spearheaded by the Provincial Government. Under the leadership of Governor Lray Villafuerte, the province’s ICARMO continues to expand this initiative, bringing free internet access to more communities across Camarines Sur.

Sa gitna ng epekto ng Habagat, patuloy kaming nagdadala ng food assistance kasama si Cong Luigi Villafuerte—hindi lang bilang tugon sa pangangailangan, kundi bilang patunay ng aming paninindigan.

Habang nagpapatuloy ang serbisyong medikal, educational at livelihood assistance, at ang malawakang infra development sa buong lalawigan—hindi rin namin nakakalimutan ang pinaka-pangunahing pangangailangan ng bawat CamSureno.

Hindi kami naghihintay. Kumikilos agad. Yan ang tatak ng Villafuerte serbisyo—palaging maagap, palaging nararamdaman.”

Principal Ma. Angelica Agnes of San Rafael Elementary School in Buhi highlighted the many advantages that both students and teachers have experienced since the installation of the CamSur Free Wi-Fi For All in their school. From timely report submissions to seamless communication between the division and national offices, and the access to educational videos that engage and educate students, the internet connection has proven to be a transformative tool for the school.

"Talagang natutulungan [ang] lahat ng kabataan, lahat ng teachers, [at] yung school, na makapag-access sa internet nang libre. Kaya we are very grateful na isa ang aming school sa naging recipient ng free Wi-Fi ng CamSur. Thank you so much and mabuhay!" she shared.

In total, 27 barangays in Buhi—ranging from the lively town center to the most remote upland sitios, public schools, markets, and plazas—are now benefiting from free, fast, and reliable internet access through the CamSur Free Wi-Fi for All Program. Under the leadership of Governor Lray Villafuerte, the program continues to expand, ensuring that all Camarinenses have access to the digital world.

In CamSur, accessible, quality, and free education is not just a promise—it’s a priority.

Under my administration and through the legacy of our family, we’ve already built and are operating 5 GMVCC campuses (Gov. Mariano Villafuerte Colleges), with 6 more under construction and 10 more on the way.

This is our concrete step toward a Smarter, Stronger NextGen CamSur.
