CamSur celebrates Earth Month, holds IEC Caravan among EVYCA BCC Chapter 🌏💚
In celebration of Earth Month in April, the Environment, Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO CAMSUR) of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur held an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) caravan among the members of the El Verde Youth for Climate Action (EVYCA) Baao Community College (BCC) Chapter on April 5-6, 2024, at the BCC Campus.
BSP CAMSUR COUNCIL: SUSTAINING GROWTH THROUGH SCOUTING 🏕️🌟
The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Camarines Sur Council successfully conducted a 3-day scouts jamboree at Camp Rodriguez-Santos, Cadlan-Palestina, Pili on April 12-14, 2024, in celebration of their 76th council-wide anniversary.
According to Irvin Ayo, head of the Camp Development Management, the essential skills of scouts that are not normally taught in the four corners of a classroom were taught to the members of the BSP CamSur Council during the 3-day activity. Among these skills include outdoor survival skills, environmental conservation projects, the Better World Framework (BWF) workshop, and team-building exercises.
Ayo likewise extended his gratitude to Gov Luigi Villafuerte of the Province of CamSur, Dr. Norma Samantela of the DepEd Division of Camarines Sur, and the parents and guardians of the scouts for their support and continuous trust and faith in the scouting movement and how it helps in shaping the youth to becoming responsible citizens of the future. 💚
CamSur remains on track with the completion of the ICS Training Course, conducts IPICS among its 1st and 2nd batch of trainees ⛑️
The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, through the Environment, Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO CAMSUR), conducted the Integrated Planning Incident Command System (IPICS) training among its 1st and 2nd batch of trainees on March 11-15 and April 15-19, 2024, at the Evacuation Center, Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili.
ICS Level 2, or the Integrated Planning Course, is an advanced module within the ICS Training Course designed to develop and enhance the trainees' skills in strategic planning, decision-making, resource management and allocation, to effectively and efficiently manage high-pressure incidents and disasters.
As of posting, the ICS Level 3 training is continuing for the two batches.
